Course: Certificate in Food Safety

Level 3 (Formally Intermediate)

This nationally certificated intermediate qualification is designed for those working in all food businesses at supervisory level and who need a better understanding of food safety & hygiene. Owners and managers in small to medium sized organisations may also find this qualification provides them with useful knowledge to do their job more effectively. Training is provided by a world class trainer with relevant food industry experience to add a greater depth of knowledge.

The course expands on basic food safety knowledge and gives a good understanding of food hygiene and safety issues and of the prevention of food safety problems. The qualification covers the following topics:-

One two hour multiple choice exam
