Managing Inappropriate Behaviour, Discipline and Grievances
Overview
Effective discipline and grievance procedures are fundamental in helping to promote good employment relations at work as well as fairness and consistency in the treatment of individuals. Conducting disciplinary investigations and hearings can be daunting - after all you are dealing with someone's livelihood and reputation and if you get it wrong the consequences can be serious for both your member of staff and your company. This training will help delegates apply policies and procedures (and introduce them if they don't already exist) which are fair, effective and easy to understand. You will also have an understanding of what discipline and grievance means and see the benefits of good practice. This workshop includes practical exercises and case studies which encourage delegates to share ideas with others in a confidential environment.
