Induction and Onboarding Skills
Overview
What is Induction and On-boarding? Remember when you started a new job, were you excited, nervous and maybe a little apprehensive? Well your new starters feel exactly the same. When recruiting great talent into your business - day 1 approaches, they are excited, raring to go and wanting to make a difference. Day one over, are they still feeling the same, are they still engaged?
Your responsibility as a manger is to make it easier for your team to do their job and that includes getting your new starters up to speed and keeping that talent engaged and ultimately retained.
We know that most businesses attract and lose people. From the talent you're losing what message is going out to market, potential future customers? You need to keep your talent. Do you feel you are doing everything you need to do to keep your new starters engaged, wanting to stay and wanting to make a difference?
The course will take you through the whole Colleague (employee) engagement cycle. From the moment an offer is made to a new starter to keeping them motivated and engaged in the business in order to retain them for years to come.
