I am writing to say how much I appreciated the training course you ran for us recently. Frankly, I only went along to show my presence, having been on umpteen sales / management / account management type courses over the years, but recently I really benefited from it. You can teach an old dog new tricks after all! I was particularly impressed with the way in which you took time to understand our business. The key problem we had identified with some of our people and then set about delivering a bespoke session. Too much training is "off the shelf, take it or leave it!, which perhaps works in a generic call centre environment, but doesn't for professional firms like ours. We will certainly use you again when we identify similar training needs in the future.

As a creative person I am interested in creating stories and finding patterns and relationships between people, but have always struggled to find the 'stories' in numbers. However, in order to grow my business this became a vital need for development and attending the course has enabled me to get a much better grasp of how the numbers in our business work and the relationship they have with our future decision making. I must also comment on your trainer - his manner and approach 'de-jargonised' a somewhat daunting area, enabling me to learn and absorb at my own pace and not feel threatened or uncomfortable.
