We mainly use hotels or appointed training centres that provide a quality service and these include the Weetwood Hall Hotel and Conference Centre in Leeds, The Holiday Inn in Edinburgh, and a number of other hotels across the UK. Start and finish times do vary on our courses however these are shown on the respective courses and confirmed in the joining instructions. Most of our courses tend to be registration at 9.15 am for a 9.30 am start and to finish about 4.30 pm. Please allow time for rush hour traffic in the morning so you can arrive in good time. If you are running late please call us on 01423 861122 so we can advise the trainer onsite.
We rarely cancel courses so numbers do literally vary from three and twelve attendees – average tends to be about seven. We place a high level of importance on smaller group training to ensure you get the most of the training. There are some courses that benefit from higher numbers and we always review the numbers in good time to ensure you gain the most from the time and money you have invested.
Should an emergency happen or you are expecting something to happen whilst you are on the course then simply ask your colleagues / family to contact our office on 01423 861122 and we will get the message to you. Trainers will accept mobiles left on during the training if the call is an emergency and will not be ringing all the time – please speak with the trainer on the morning / where possible advise our office in advance on 01423 861122.
All of our full day courses include lunch and refreshments. Half day courses include refreshments.
We are responsive to your requirements so if you have any special dietary requirements and / or you have a specific disability simply let us know and we will make reasonable adjustments to enable you to get the most from our course.
Simply call one of our team on 01423 861122 and we will either answer your questions or we will ask the trainer delivering the course to call you directly to respond directly to your questions. We normally issue pre-course questionnaires on our professional courses and these provide you with the opportunity to be more specific about what you want from the course – we will take into account all attendees requirements and where possible we will try to include all requests.
We recommend business casual clothing for most of our courses to ensure you feel comfortable and at ease – we always make you feel at ease on arrival and make the training both fun and interactive. Health and Safety Training will need you to undertake some practical exercise so we recommend casual for these courses e.g. Jeans and shirt / blouse. We try to aim for venues that provide free car parking however there will be times when car parking charges will apply – these details will be included in the joining instructions or we can advise at the time of booking.
Most of our clients pay by BACS following receipt of an invoice or by using our bank details available on our website at the time of booking. We also accept payment by cheque as long as the funds have cleared prior to the date of the course. We can also take payment by card through our Paypal account. This payment can taken through our e-commerce site at the time of booking or by sending a Paypal payment to firstname.lastname@example.org afterwards. We can only accept payment by these three methods - at this time we have not seen enough demand to accept card payments over the telephone. We do require payment in advance of attendance otherwise your place will be at risk and we reserve the right to refuse admission on the course.
If you need to cancel then contact us at the earliest opportunity on 01423 861122 so we can discuss your options. Where possible we will apply discretion however we would always encourage you to ask someone else to attend in your place. The full cost of the course is normally applied if the cancellation is within two weeks of the course date.
