Delegation, Coaching and Mentoring Skills Course (one day)

The day will enable you to be more confident in delegating more effectively so you can focus on your key performance objectives. You will also learn how to give timely coaching feedback and mentoring to maximise performance levels in your team. 

In addition we will also look at how team members cope with change and how you can ensure they are inspired and motivated to adopt organisational change.

If you find yourself saying "I don't trust them", "I'll do a better job"', "I don't have the time to train, coach and mentor them"' and/or "it will be quicker if I do the job" then our course will enable you to delegate, coach and mentor more effectively.

Highly effective delegation, coaching and mentoring will help you to develop a high performance team culture in your organisation.

Timings: 9.30 am to 4.30 pm 

Booking confirmations: We will email you to confirm receipt of your booking within five working days. A confirmation invoice will be issued to either request payment by either BACS/cheque or confirmation of payment if you have made a card payment already through our World Pay Account.  Again this will be issued within five working days. Also detailed joining instructions are normally released by email at least seven working days prior to the date of the course.

  • Authority, responsibility and accountability
  • Fundamentals of coaching and mentoring
  • Important attributes, core skills and knowledge of an effective coach and mentor
  • The power of timely coaching feedback
  • Models of coaching
  • Agreeing effective outcomes and how to measure the results
  • Having difficult conversations
  • Understanding how team members respond to change
  • Ensure team members are inspired and motivate to adopt change in the organisation
  • Developing a culture of personal leadership and responsibility

We issue a pre-course questionnaire at the time of booking to enable all our attendees to tailor the day to their requirements/other attendees on the day.  This applies to both in-company courses and our scheduled course dates.  All group sizes are kept small to ensure you gain maximum benefit from the day.

The day is aimed at anyone who needs to delegate more whether you are a team or a project leader in your organisation.  It also aimed at those who wish to be more confident in providing effective coaching and mentorship to ensure you don't take back the work you have delegated.
